Scenery and Wildlife in Sooke, British Columbia

Seeing the coast of Vancouver Island from the water is a breathtaking experience.

The rugged coastline teaming with wildlife boasts some of the most magnificent scenery in all of North America.

Sooke is a temperate rainforest, and where this rainforest meets the ocean, magic is created. Evergreen coastlines provide a rich, green backdrop for beautiful, thick morning fog. As the fogs clear, the Olympic mountain range comes into view. On the other side of the boat forests along the ocean mark the home of many wild species of our island.

The living coastline, home to sealions, porpoises, blue herons bears, and much more, provides an exciting ecotour while you enjoy your fishing experience. Bald eagles will soar above you and seals will play in the water around your boat.

Our island is also known for many types of whales, including humpbacks, orcas (killer whales), and gray whales. Keep your cameras close and be ready capture Vancouver Island in all it's glory.
